Welcome to KW Fly Fishers. We encourage people to explore club offerings and invite you to attend one of our monthly meetings. We’re a mix of seasoned fly anglers and new comers, offering a sense of community for those interested in wetting a line in our local watershed.

Upcoming Events:
May 6 – General Meeting
May General Meeting with Guest Speaker Dave Whalley – 65 species in one year. Our very own Dave Whalley will tell us about his challenge to catch 65 species on a fly rod before his 65 Birthday!
May 10th – Tree Planting on The Conestogo River
We will be planting a number of matured trees (2ft-3ft in height) which will assist in stopping further erosion but also more rapidly provide shade to Carrol Creek helping to maintain cooler water temperatures in this stretch or water. As a main tributary to the upper Grand River it is a critical area for us to focus. More Info.
May 15 – Fly Tie with Scott Barham
Our May fly tying meeting will take place on Thursday, May 15th starting at 7 p.m. at the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory, 2500 Kossuth Road in Cambridge. Our guest tyer will be Scott Barham.
